PAPUA NEW GUINEA HUMAN RIGHTS FILM FESTIVAL 2012

"This year’s festival takes place in three stages, in three different parts of Papua New Guinea:

14-18 November, Port Moresby
24-26 November, Buka
30 November – 1 December, Goroka

The PNG Human Rights Film Festival promotes greater respect, protection and fulfilment of human rights for all. It creates a forum for debate to empower the audience with the understanding that personal commitment can make a difference to end discrimination. The festival brings to life human rights stories. It challenges each individual to empathize with the most vulnerable and discriminated against in our societies, especially victims of human rights violations, and supports justice for all people."
